SySpeed is shareware software, which means that you
may use it during a trial period without any functional restrictions.
But when the trial period is over, you have to either purchase it
or uninstall it.
As soon as you purchase SySpeed, you receive SySpeed registration
license from Softmate Corporation via e-mail. License includes unique
Registration ID and Password. You can use them to register your SySpeed
copy. |

Registration is a procedure of getting the registration key
from Softmate Corporation. There are two ways to get that
key. The easiest and the fastest one is on-line registration.
If due to some reason it is not working, you can try e-mail
registration, which takes a bit more time.

On-line Registration |

On-line registration is a procedure of getting
a registration key for SySpeed directly through the Internet.
Thereby, to register on-line you need at least two things:
1) SySpeed license, which includes Registration ID and password;
2) alive Internet connection.
If both these conditions are true, you can continue with the
SySpeed Registration Wizard, which is supplied along with
SySpeed. That Registration Wizard can by started in different
ways:
1. From Start menu: Start | Programs | SySpeed | SySpeed Registration.
2. From SySpeed trial dialog, which is shown below, by clicking
Register... button:
3. From SySpeed, when it is running, by choosing Tools | Registration...
command in menu.
As soon as you start it, the Wizard (see below) appears and
the actual registration begins. First of all you need to fill
in all fields with your registration data, or at least the
marked with asterisk (*), as follows:
Of course, you have to use your own Name, Company and E-mail.
Registration ID and Password should be taken from your SySpeed
license. Please, be sure that you typed them into the Wizard
fields correctly. Press Next button in the bottom of the Wizard
when you finished.
If registration data is correct and everything goes right,
after a short delay Wizard shell announce you that registration
completed successfully.
Typical on-line registration errors
1. Incorrect Registration ID or Password:
Appearance of that or similar message
means that either Registration ID or Password typed incorrectly.
You have to re-type them carefully. If error persists, please
try E-mail registration.
2. Not resolved address:
The message above means, that Registration
Wizard cannot resolve address of the registration site to
IP address with DNS. The reason of that error could be the
broken Internet connection. If you can use Internet, but still
get that message, it means that due to some reason your DNS
cannot resolve registration site address anyway. Usually,
that problem disappeared after some time, as soon as DNS is
updated. Therefore, it can work fine after a while, for example
one day later. But still there is no way to be sure about
it. It is recommended to try E-mail registration instead.
NOTE: It license used more then ones – previous registered
versions become unregistered. For example, if you already
have SySpeed registered on one computer, but after a while
you registered it on another computer. In that case SySpeed
on the first computer becomes unregistered, and only the latest
registration is true.

working, see the next section.

Email Registration |

E-mail registration procedure can help you to
register your SySpeed copy if something goes wrong with on-line
procedure. You still need On-line Registration Wizard even for
e-mail registration. Here is a reason why: registration key
is generated using all registration information, which is entered
by user into On-line Registration Wizard fields. Besides, it
includes also one hidden field, which is called Hardware ID.
That Hardware ID contains in compact form some features of your
computer, like CPU, system partition name, Motherboard etc.
Different computers have different Hardware ID. Without that
Hardware ID the key cannot be generated, but to get the Hardware
ID we need to use the On-line Registration Wizard.
If you have e-mail client installed and configured properly
on your computer, it is recommended to press Cannot register
On-line? Try e-mail registration underlined link, right below
the last field in the On-line Registration Wizard. E-mail will
appear with all registration information enclosed and ready
to be sent to the Technical Support (support@syspeed.com) for
the SySpeed registration key generation.
If you have any problem with e-mail and cannot get it working,
click on the next underlined link Cannot send e-mail? in the
bottom of On-line Registration Wizard. Web browser will be opened
with all registration information within. Follow the instructions,
which you will find there.

Un-registration
|
| License un-registration is obsolete and no more necessary
for SySpeed 2.0. However, it is included into installation package
for emergency. For example, if you have more than one SySpeed licenses
and you want to re-register already registered SySpeed with different
license, there is the only way to do that – un-register previous license
with Un-registration wizard. |
